Autumn finally feels like it's here and prime running weather is upon us...

In this episode: 
- Dan continues his quest for elevation and runs into trail royalty on his Sunday long run (but keeps calling her by her sister’s name for his whole recap)
- Matt runs 100 miles, clocking another very solid week on the road to the 2024 GC Marathon Festival
- Sinéad has a quieter week as she nears the third trimester

The 2024 Lighthorse Ultra took place, with a slew of results across the various distances; 24hr/12hr/6hr/3hr/1hr (pooch & non-pooch) - https://my.raceresult.com/278802/results

The annual WAMC Perth 32 took place on Sunday 28th, with the 32km taken out by Karlos Aquino & Kirsten Buist. The 10km distances were won by Jack Sirrett (32:42) Kara Loran (41:03) - https://www.wamc.org.au/race-results?year=2024&race=177&distance=320#results

The first Ballarat Marathon Festival kicked off yesterday, Sunday 28th April, with several WA athletes flying the flag for WA on the east coast. Karen Blaney finished 4th in the half marathon in 1:16.30. Lee-Anne Flugel finished 10th Female in the marathon clocking an impressive 3:09.05 - https://tomatotiming.racetecresults.com/results.aspx?CId=16&RId=29631&EId=1

London Marathon recap after last weekend. 1st WA female across the line Kristen Turnbull 3:18.41 PB. 1st WA Male Ben Tay 2:39.55.

Phoebe discusses her different approach to marathon training, combining running & her first love, strength training. Phoebe also shares how this trip to London came about as she travelled across to London as a New Balance ambassador.
