Episode 39 | Jack Crago Guest Host | Gold Coast Marathon and Bibra Lake Runningworks Festival Results
In this weeks episode:
- Matt’s away racing - Dan & Sinead speak to him to get his (long) recount of the Gold Coast Marathon
- Dan uses ‘recovery’ as a bit of an excuse for a lazy week, and only fits one jog in.
- Sinead walks further than Dan runs this week. Enjoying the last weeks of pregnancy & officially on maternity leave
We welcome special guest host and shoe-dog extraordinaire, Jack Crago. We discuss his training and new goals post Transcend Ultra, as well as diving in to his running journey and the continual rise of the @jogoncrago Instragram account.

Gold Coast Marathon Festival: A large WA contingent headed to the east coast to tackle the 2024 Gold Coast Marathon festival – including our very own Matt. We chat with Matt about his race, which unfortunately did not result in a PB, but a respectable 2:38:11 on what seemed to be a tough day for many. A few WA athletes walked away with notable PB’s, including Dean Menzies (65:01) & Charlotte Pickering (1:27:21) in the Half Marathon Distances, as well as a big PB for Jamie Lynch (2:43:41) & a solid run from Karlos Aquino (2:31:59) in the Marathon.
